Spagyric Processing
Unlocking Plant Nutrition

The Miraculous Process Used to Concentrate Amazon Herbs

Bright shiny green leaf herb with bright red flowers.      The special method of botanical preparations, (it's modeled on the spagyric method, sometimes referred to as "plant alchemy") is based on ancient bio-energetic principles. Paracelsus was perhaps the most noted practitioner of this methodology in the 16th century.
Because we are dealing with the finest botanicals on the planet from the highest concentration of life energy, it is only fair to use the only method of extraction designed to deliver "All" of the herb's nutritional properties.

This method of herbal extraction is dramatically different from commercial extraction methods. Although the details are proprietary information (trade secret) the important points are...

  • The raw plant material is soaked in water and alcohol, the two best solvents known. These natural solvents dissolve the compound into a solution that extracts otherwise insoluble elements.

  • Next, the solution is put under heavy pressure in a 100,000-pound press. This separates the liquid from the “mark” -- the material left in the press.

  • In other processes the “mark” is discarded. But we know this cellulose fiber contains a wealth of phyto-nutrients. We save the “mark” and reduce it to mineral ash, retaining all of its valuable components.

  • We then re-combine the mineral ash with the “mother” solution.

Because of the intricacies of the steps involved and the cycles we adhere to, it takes weeks to process a single batch of product. But it is worth it. This is the only method of herbal preparation that extracts all of the plant's natural therapeutic compounds including the trace elements, glycosides, alkaloids, polysaccharides and essential oils.

The finished blend is a full potency, maximum performance, fast acting liquid formula. The end result recreates the synergy of the "whole" plant.

To make our Digestazon Plus phyto-zon concentrate Vegicaps® capsules, this liquid is sprayed back onto the herbal powder. This concentrated powder is then put into all vegetable capsules.

We have recently introduced Liquizons®, our Spagyric liquid concentrated into a vegetable capsule.  Please read more here about our Liquizons.

Whether you prefer liquid or Liquizons®, our process ensures that every product is charged with the full and complete phyto-nutritional and bio-energetic properties of the Rainforest. Accelerate your health to a new level of life-experience with these Amazon phyto-zon™ concentrates.

Interview with Dr. Jack Hinze

The following is an interview (1997) with
Dr. Jack Hinze,
Pharm. D., N.D.,
expert on the
Spagyric Processing.

Head shot of Dr. Jack Hinze, wearing suit and tie, with dark hair, bearc and moustache.

Amazon Superfoods: Welcome, Dr. Hinze. Could you give us a little history of Spagyric Processing?

Dr. Hinze: The process was actually developed in the 15th century by a gentleman by the name of Paracelsus, who was considered to be a physician in his time. He was somewhat ahead of his time, some of the things he brought forth were things that were used centuries after him. Hahneman, who was considered the father of homeopathy, took some of his information from Paracelsus.

The information he wrote about the spagyric process is very incomplete and I stumbled on to the writings and information about 15 years ago. A laboratory in Utah was using it, and had perfected it. A very wise and elderly gentleman from Germany had worked on it for a long time. I began to work with him, however, he decided to leave this earth.

I spent the next four years doing research for myself to determine how he was able to bring a plant in solid form to a completely liquid form. This is really what the spagyric process does. We have done much to refine the process.

Amazon Superfoods: Can you tell us why spagyric processing is superior to other extraction methods?

Dr. Hinze: Other extraction processes make a percolation, like a tea, and then the plant material, or mark, is thrown away. We know the mark contains numerous quantities of medicinal and nutritional properties, including glycosides, which are very medicinal in themselves, and trace minerals which are locked up in the matrix, the cellulite, and cannot be released via water or alcohol extraction, and are lost in those processes.

In our process, depending on the botanical, the plant is put through multiple extractions, water, alcohol, combination of both - in the right order for that particular plant. Then the mark is put through a process that liquefies it. In other words, what is left in your tea bag turns into a liquid.
At that point we have released from that cellulose, from that matrix, all the trace minerals and trapped glycosides. Those are really key because most botanicals, most herbals, work primarily by their ability to provide large amounts of trace minerals. What you actually have is a plant that has been completely liquefied.

Amazon Superfoods: So everything that the Indians have in their jungle teas are in the bottle of formula we take?

Dr. Hinze: That is correct. We throw nothing away. Actually, we have a bit more, because the Indians throw away the trace minerals!

The real strength of these Amazon Herb products is the vast array of phyto-nutritional compounds inherent in these plants.
